How we collaborate in Thorizon
Working across borders, disciplines and perspectives
Our teams are spread across different countries, cultures and areas of expertise.
People bring different backgrounds, different ways of thinking and sometimes very different views on how a problem should be solved.
That diversity makes us stronger.
It also requires curiosity, humility and a willingness to learn from people who see the world differently.
Collaboration is not about convincing each other, it is about building enough trust to explore disagreement together.
The best solutions rarely emerge from people thinking alike. They emerge when people are willing to challenge ideas, listen with openness and keep searching for a better answer.
Making collaboration real
Most of our positions are open in indifferently in our Amsterdam or Lyon office. We also offer coworking possibilities in Paris for some roles.
Technology allows us to work across locations but relationships make that work effective.
That is why colleagues are invited to regularly travel between offices. Some things happen more naturally when people share the same room, the same coffee break or the same walk after a long day. Trust grows through small moments.
And in a company tackling challenges as complex as advanced nuclear technology, trust is not a nice-to-have. It is part of how the work gets done.
Balancing flexibility and connection
We believe people do their best work when they have both autonomy and connection.
Our hybrid working agreement allows employees to work from home up to two days per week, while staying closely connected to their teams and projects.
We hope to build an environment where people can focus when they need to, collaborate when it matters, and continue learning from one another.
Building together
The reactor we are developing will be the result of thousands of decisions made by people with different expertise, perspectives and experiences.
Learning how to work together across those differences is not a secondary skill.
It is one of the most important things we do.
If you enjoy working with people who think differently from you, who are willing to challenge assumptions respectfully, and who care as much about learning as they do about solving problems, we invite you to explore our open positions.
