Clean energy close to where it is needed

Thorizon delivers a compact reactor designed to integrate seamlessly into industrial clusters. It provides low-cost energy at €60/MWh, enabled by modular series construction and intrinsically safe molten salt technology.

Each reactor delivers 250 MW of industrial heat or 100 MW of electricity, enough to supply large industrial sites, data centers or power hundreds of thousands of households. High availability and integrated storage make it a reliable, local source of clean energy.

Thorizon is a European nuclear company with offices in the Netherlands and France, strategically positioned to leverage the continent’s nuclear expertise and advanced manufacturing ecosystem. We have secured both private and public funding, designed our demonstrator and commercial reactors, and confirmed sites for deployment. With our launching customer onboard and active engagement with regulators in multiple European countries, Thorizon is well positioned to start construction in the early 2030s.

We combine deep nuclear expertise with industrial execution power. Our team includes reactor designers, licensing experts, and hardware engineers experienced from component design to full reactor deployment. We prototype in-house, iterate quickly, and operate in cross-functional teams built to scale, moving the next generation of nuclear from research to reality at pace.

Next generation nuclear
